Chicks With Sticks:

Memorial Day weekend is almost upon us. Though we will be closed this Saturday and Monday (May 23 and 25), there is still time to stop in today or Friday for yarn for a nice summer top!

Everleigh is a loose-fitting top that would be great to throw over a tank top. It is knit with three colors of Queensland Collection Eco Twist, a beautiful viscose/cotton/linen blend.

Amara is made with Juniper Moon Farm Zooey Stripes. This cotton/linen blend is perfect for summer!

Ivy is knit with Queensland Collection United, a gorgeous 100% organic blend of wool and cotton. Use your imagination to choose colors you love!

West Michigan Yarn Quest is June 18-27!

Passports are on sale now for only $5! Come join in the fun! This year there are ten shops to visit and lots of great door prizes!

Not sure what Yarn Quest is? In a nutshell, a YQ passport is your ticket to 15% off yarn in the ten participating shops June 18-27 and entry into the daily door prize drawings. Visit each shop to collect a piece of the YQ pattern, designed by Becca Anderson of Threadbender specifically for Yarn Quest (available in knit or crochet!). Visit at least eight shops to be entered into the big runner-up drawings (10 prizes valued at $150 each) or visit all ten to be entered into the Grand Prize drawings (2 prizes will be given away, valued at $500 each)!

Upcoming Classes and Events:

Learn German Short Rows with the Hera Shawl:  This is a 2-session class held on Saturday, June 6 and 13, 9:00-11:00am. The class is filling up, so sign up soon. Click the class name for more information! 

Building Blocks/Building in Color, Building with Lace: The next session will be on Saturday, June 20, 9:00-11:00am. Join us for this monthly drop-in workshop to work through the Building Series from Skacel. This is a great skill-building opportunity. Pre-registration is not required, but is appreciated. The cost is $15/2-hr session. Click the class name for more information.

Thursday Night Drop-In: Join us on Thursday nights from 6-8pm for social knitting, crocheting, or whatever portable fiber craft you're working on. You're welcome just to come in and hang out or shop, too.
