Books make great gifts! 

I love a good book! My favorites are mysteries, but a good knitting book is always high on my list, too. We've received some new and returning favorites just in time for the holidays.

First on the the list is Knitting the U.S.A., a new book by Nancy Bates, author of Knitting the National Parks. In her latest book, knit unique beanies inspired by the majesty and charm of each of the fifty states.

Marie Greene has written another great book - Knit in One! This new book has 30 clever one-skein patterns for gorgeous beanies, socks, shawls, and more! And speaking of Marie Greene, her hit, Knit Shawls & Wraps in 1 Week is back in stock!

Easy Sweaters to Knit, by Melanie Berg, presents a collection of 13 of her most popular designs, from classic sweaters to cozy cardigans, lightweight summer tops and striking poncho-style knits. This book is packed with inspiration for your next must-knit project!

The Gnomes of Grimblewood are back! This book flies off the shelf. I've got a couple in stock with more on backorder. The little friends in this book are so cute!   

Upcoming Classes and Events:

Building Blocks/Building in Color, Building with Lace: The next session will be on Saturday, November 15, 9:00-11:00am. Join us for this monthly drop-in workshop to work through the Building Series from Skacel. This is a great skill-building opportunity. Pre-registration is not required, but is appreciated. The cost is $15/2-hr session. Click the class name for more information.

Thursday Night Drop-In: Join us on Thursday nights from 6-8pm for social knitting, crocheting, or whatever portable fiber craft you're working on! You're welcome just to come in and hang out or shop, too!

Thanksgiving Week Hours: We will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 27.  We will be back at 11am on Friday, Nov. 28!
