We are starting to feel a chill in the air - a perfect feeling when you want to get going on some snuggly fall yarn projects! New yarn has been coming in the past couple weeks, so stop by soon to check out all the great new products!

Queensland Collection Falkland Chunky

Easy-care fine Merino wool from sheep ethically raised in the Falkland Islands. Falkland Island wool is known for having great body, a bit of luster, and a pleasant but not obsessive crimp. This quick-to-knit chunky is sure to become a favorite!

 Araucania Jaspeada

Another chunky weight option, Jaspeada is a super soft blend of super fine alpaca, wool, and recycled polyamide. Make beautiful accessories or sweaters with this colorful yarn.

Ella Rae Tufty and Tufty Color

Tufty Color and its solid sibling Tufty are are an airy blend of kid mohair and microfiber acrylic. Pattern options include light-as-a-feather cardigans, pullovers, and shrugs. Get the look of added mohair without having to work with two separate strands.

This is only a sample of the lovely new yarns now in stock! I don't want to be an alarmist, but there are only 71 more days until Christmas. Time to start those gifts, if you haven't already!

Upcoming Classes and Events:

Berroco Blanket Workshop: The next workshop will be Saturday, Nov. 8, 9:30-11:30am. We're in the home stretch and will be talking about blocking and seaming your squares! Early registration is appreciated, but not required. Click on the class name to be taken to the website for more information or to register.

Building Blocks/Building in Color, Building with Lace: The next session will be on Saturday, October 18, 9:00-11:00am. Join us for this monthly drop-in workshop to work through the Building Series from Skacel. This is a great skill-building opportunity. Pre-registration is not required, but is appreciated. The cost is $15/2-hr session. Click the class name for more information.

Thursday Night Drop-In: Join us on Thursday nights from 6-8pm for social knitting, crocheting, or whatever portable fiber craft you're working on! You're welcome just to come in and hang out or shop, too! There will be no drop-in on October 30 due to a private event that evening.
