Let the fall knitting begin!

 It's almost time, but first...one last holiday of Summer.  We will be open as usual today, Friday, Aug. 29, 11:00am-4:00pm and Saturday, Aug. 30, 10:00am-4:00pm.  We will be closed on Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 1. We will reopen on Tuesday, Sept. 2 with our new fall hours:

Monday-Wednesday: 11:00am - 5:00pm

Thursday: 1:00pm - 7:00pm (this is also Knit Night!)

Friday: 11:00am - 5:00pm

Saturday: 10:00am-4:00pm

While it's sad to see summer ending (although maybe not those 90+ degree days), I'm looking forward to some cozy times knitting and crocheting.

Upcoming Classes:

LOOK!  Berroco Mystery Knit-along Blanket Workshop: Join Amy once a month to learn new skills while making a beautiful afghan one square at a time. Workshops will be $15 each month and are drop-in (no need to pre-register). The September session will be one week earlier: Sat., Sept. 6, 9:30-11:30 a.m.

Building Blocks/Building in Color/Building With Lace: This is a drop-in skill-building class that is held on the 3rd Saturday of the month. More information can be found by clicking here.  The September session is scheduled for Sat., Sept. 20, 9-11 am. Pre-registration is not required, but is appreciated!

Beginning Knitting is a 3-session class to teach you the basics of what is sure to become a life-long passion.  You'll learn to cast-on, knit, purl, increase and decrease, and bind off.  By Class 3, you'll be ready to start your first project! September and November sessions are now both full, but you can call to be put on a wait list. 

Thursday Night Drop-In: Join us on Thursday nights from 6-8pm for social knitting, crocheting, or whatever portable fiber craft you're working on! You're welcome just to come in and shop, too! Drop-in starts up again Sept. 4.
