What's happening at

Saiun from Noro has arrived at Chicks With Sticks! Saiun is the rainbow effect of the mist between glowing clouds.  Constructed of many colors like its big brother ITO, the end result is an unforgettable array of saturated hues. Each ball embarks on a color journey of happiness and reminds us that spring is right around the corner! UPCOMING CLASSES:

Building Blocks: The next session will be Saturday, Jan. 18 at 9-11 am. This is a drop-in class (no need to pre-register).  Class is $15/session. You can find more information here.

Berroco Blanket MKAL Workshop: This workshop is specifically for those participating in the Berroco Blanket Mystery KAL.  The February workshop will be Saturday, Feb. 8 at 9:30-11:30 am. February's blocks will feature stripes.  Each workshop session is $15 and no pre-registration is required.

Beginning Knitting is a 3-session class to teach you the basics of what is sure to become a life-long passion.  You'll learn to cast-on, knit, purl, increase and decrease, and bind off.  By Class 3, you'll be ready to start your first project! There is one seat left in the March class on Wednesdays, March 12, 19, and 26, and we have openings in our May class on Wednesdays, May 14, 21, and 28.  All classes run 6-8pm. The 3-session class is $60. You can sign up online here, or call or stop by the store. 

Thursday Night Drop-Ins (aka Yarn Therapy!) is a chance to spend a couple hours in the evening to sit and stitch with friends. Our last January drop-in will be Thursday night, January 23 from 6-8pm. February drop-in dates are Feb. 6 and 13. You're welcome to come in and shop during drop-in hours, too! Please note that drop-in dates will be canceled if Kalamazoo Public or Portage Public schools are closed for weather that day.
