New Colors are in for the Malabrigo KAL at Chicks With Sticks

What's happening at

Malabrigo KAL featuring the Friendship Shawl in Dos Tierras starts March 1... ...and there is still time to sign up and get some great colors. We have all eight new colors in stock now!  They're so new I don't have pictures yet, but you can check them out in person at the shop or preview them on Malabrigo's website by clicking HERE.

Upcoming Classes:

Building Blocks/Building in Color/Building in Lace: The next session will be Saturday, March 16 at 9-11 am. This is a drop-in class (no need to pre-register).  You can find more information here.

Beginning Knitting is a 3-session class to teach you the basics of what is sure to become a life-long passion.  You'll learn to cast-on, knit, purl, increase and decrease, and bind off.  By Class 3, you'll be ready to start your first project! The March class is full, but the next class will meet on Wednesdays, May 15, 22, and 29, 6-8pm. You can sign up online here, or call or stop by the store.

My First Socks class is back again! If you're ready to learn to knit socks, then this is the class for you. This 3-session class will teach the basics of knitting socks, from choosing yarn to closing the toe with the Kitchener stitch. Class will meet from 6-8 pm on Tuesdays, March 19, April 2 and 9. Thursday Night Drop-In is a chance to get some help on a troublesome project or just hang out knit or crochet with a fun group!  There is no charge to drop in.  The next sessions are February 29 and every Thursday in March from 6-8pm.
