Looking for a winter project? How about Timaru, a cabled vest pattern using Haunui Silk from Noro!
Haunui (pronounced Hoo-noo-ee) Silk is new this season from Noro. It's a natural blend of raw mulberry silk and unique mixed-breed Haunui merino wool from the Taranui farm in New Zealand. True wool lovers will enjoy this slightly rustic un-dyed yarn. The heavy worsted weight yarn has a slight thick and thin quality to its single ply. No two sheep are exactly the same color, but their fleece fall into color categories and are blended to create rich shades of oatmeal, brown, gray, and black for you to choose from.
Stop in to see us and pick out your Haunui Silk today! Whether your visit us in person or if you order online, we'll include the pattern for free!
If a vest isn't your thing, let us help you find the perfect project to knit, crochet, or cross-stitch your way through the last half of winter in the Mitten!
Class Reminder: There will be NO Thursday Night Drop-In on January 26 and February 2. The next one will be Thursday, February 9 from 6-8pm.
