| Happy September! Cooler weather is on the horizon so it's time to knit and crochet, my friends! I love a leisurely Sunday afternoon with a pot of chili on the stove, a football game on the television, and knitting needles in my hands. Stop in soon to see what's new! Fresh in from Austria: Mally Sock in six holiday colors! Knit up quick holiday socks using US 4-6 needles with this squishy soft yarn. Limited quantities available so don't wait too long to get yours!     Now in from Universal Yarn: Offbeat: A machine washable blend of acrylic and alpaca that is perfect for fall and winter projects. This sport weight yarn has a whopping 586 yards per 150 gram cake!  Uptown Worsted and Hues: A high quality anti-pilling acrylic yarn that is perfect for those projects requiring easy-peasy care.  Class news - call us to sign up for any of the classes below! Beginning Knitting I, II, and III: We still have space in the September sessions, Wednesday September 14, 21, and 28. Classes run from 6-8pm and will teach you all the basics you'll need to get started. Building Blocks/Building in Color/Building with Lace will be held on Saturday, September 17 from 9-11am. Thursday night knit-a-alongs from 6-8pm are back! All are welcome to come sit and knit or crochet during these free sessions. Intro to Crochet - Granny Squares: It's back for October! The class runs the first four Mondays, October 3, 10, 17, and 22. Classes run from 6-8pm and will teach you all the basics you'll need to get started in crochet.
