| Charity Update: We are still collecting donations of knitted/crocheted items for the Seita Scholars program at Western Michigan University. Hats, cowls, mittens/mitts/gloves, socks, and slippers are all welcomed gifts. Of particular need still are adult-size gender-neutral hats and slippers. Please drop off your items to the shop by Saturday, November 27 (Thanksgiving weekend). A huge thank you to all who have so generously donated items so far! Starting Thursday, December 2: Thursday Night Hang-Out. Got a project on your needles or hook that's giving you problems? Do you need a little help or maybe some moral support? Do you just want to get out of the house and hang out? Come on in Thursdays 6-8 pm for Amy's Thursday Night Hang-out sessions. Most of the time it'll be unscripted help time, but we may occasionally partake in a KAL or CAL - who knows? (I've got my eye on Stephen West's Hiberknits KAL that starts right after Christmas!) The cost is $5 and is drop-in (no sign-up required). Thanksgiving Weekend Hours: We will be closing at 4pm on Wednesday, Nov. 24. Closed on Thanksgiving. Open Friday, Nov. 26 11am-6pm and Saturday, Nov. 27 (Small Business Saturday!) 10am-4pm. Stay warm and keep those needles and hooks humming along!
