12 Days of Madeline Tosh: Looking for a fun project for the 12 days of Christmas? We still have a few 12 Days of Madeline Tosh kits left. Each kit has 12 TML Unicorn Tails featuring 6 core and 6 special holiday colors, along with some little gifties and a pattern for both knit and crochet! A great gift to treat yourself to a little selfish knitting after all that Christmas gift knitting you did! (We can show you what it'll make - just didn't want to include a spoiler picture for those who love surprises.) |
Last minute gift ideas: We have a selection of fun items for the yarn enthusiasts on your list! Sheep-themed stemless wine glasses are a fun gift to pair with a bottle of your knitter's favorite beverage! Or a coffee mug, if that is more to their liking! We have some new ceramic yarn bowls in stock, beautifully handmade by a local artist! We've been restocked on reclaimed wood yarn bowls, also locally made. (We should have a couple of new covered yarn bowls fresh off the lathe this weekend, too!) How about a kit for the beautiful Royal Oak Cowl made of Blue Sky Fibers Woolstok? This was a super fun knit with just enough cables to make it exciting! We also still have a nice selection of hat kits - it's not too late to actually whip up a couple for gifts - or you can give the kit as a gift! Charity update: Yarn people are awesome people! Kay dropped off items for Seita scholars at WMU in early December. There are 104 Seita scholars this year and about 2/3 of them will be staying at the university over the winter break. Dropped off this year were 165 hats. 45 cowls, 32 headbands, 18 sets of gloves, 10 slippers /socks, 5 shawls, 20 scarves and one bag of some miscellaneous items.
About 60 hats were also donated for children. You guys seriously rock!! May you all have happy and blessed holidays! Thank you so much for being a part of our fiber family and for all your patience and support as we've navigated some very weird waters this year. We truly wouldn't be able to be here without all of you and we are so grateful for the opportunity to serve you! We are hopeful that we will be able to get back to classes and social knitting sometime in 2021. In the meantime, stay safe and remember, stitching keeps us sane.
