Double Knitting Vernetzt Scarf



Double knitting is a technique in which you are creating a double layer of stockinette stitch with mirror-image colorwork on the front and back.  Both layers are knit simultaneously on one pair of needles.  Join Mary V. as she shows you all you'll need to know to create beautiful double knit.  This is a 3-session class - one session per month for three months - and you'll end up with a lovely scarf!  This class is recommended for the intermediate knitter.

Requirements:
You will need 2 contrasting colors of yarn. You can chose a sport weight (350-400 yds of each color) and US 6 needles or fingering weight (400-500 yds of each color) and US 4 needles. The model is made with Plymouth Estilo sport (381 yds of each color).
