2025 Year-Long Blanket Mystery Knit-Along Workshop

The Berroco Year Long Blanket MKAL (MYSTERY Knit-along) is great way to learn new skills, build on the skills you have, or just make a blanket a block at a time! Starting in January 2025, Berroco will be releasing the pattern(s) for one to two blanket squares each month throughout 2025.

As the year progresses, the techniques for the squares will grow increasingly intricate, offering both challenge and delight for knitters of all skill levels. The squares will utilize texture, cable, lace, and colorwork techniques, because variety is the spice of life!

Each month, the workshop will focus on that month's block(s). By the end of 2025, you will have some great new skills under your belt. There will also be a workshop for that final assembly step!

You can sign up in advance, but it is not necessary to do so. Join us each month or only when you need extra help with a square.

The MKAL blanket kit is extra and can be purchased online or in person at Chicks With Sticks.

You should be able to cast on, knit, purl, and bind off comfortably. Then, we'll build skills as we go!

Instructor Bio:

Amy is a self-taught knitter who's been madly in love with the craft for more than 30 years! She loves all things fiber, including crocheting, sewing, embroidery, cross-stitch, weaving, and more (if it involves fiber, she's probably at least tried it!). Amy retired from the pharmaceutical industry and, with her friend Michelle, owns Chicks With Sticks because neither felt like they had quite enough yarn!

When she's not playing with fiber, she enjoys camping (which usually also includes knitting) and reading. She has been married to her high school sweetheart for over 40 years and has two children, two children-in-love, and two grandchildren.
