Intro to Colorwork - Soundtrack Cowl

Working with multiple colors doesn't have to be hard! The Soundtrack cowl uses a slip stitch to incorporate a second color; we reverse the colors at the halfway point to add a colorblock aspect.  Slip stitches are easy, yet addictive so you'll find yourself wanting to keep knitting!  This 2-session class will incorporate knitting in the round, ribbing, slip stitches for colorwork, and carrying the unused color (fewer ends to weave in!).

The class is suitable for the established beginner who is comfortable casting on, knitting and purling.

Amy
Instructor Bio:
Amy is a self-taught knitter who's been madly in love with the craft for more than 30 years! She loves all things fiber, including crocheting, sewing, embroidery, cross-stitch, weaving, and more (if it involves fiber, she's probably at least tried it!). Amy retired from the pharmaceutical industry and, with her friend Michelle, owns Chicks With Sticks because neither felt like they had quite enough yarn!

When she's not playing with fiber, she enjoys camping (which usually also includes knitting) and reading. She has been married to her high school sweetheart for 40 years and has two children, two children-in-love, and two grandchildren.
