Introduction to Needle Tatting

What is tatting, you ask? It is a type of lace made with a larks head knot and picots in a sequence of rings and chains using a long needle.  Traditionally, this lace was created using fine thread; in this class, you will explore tatting with a large needle and large yarn, opening up the possibilities of what you can create.

In this 1.5 hour, 2-session class, we will be learning the basics using worsted weight yarn.  You will need tatting needles (available at Chicks With Sticks) and a $10 kit that will be available from Molly on the first day of class.
